How can you proceed to a limit, when the limit is infinite? Or, in non-standard analysis, how can you play with an infinitesimal when it is infinitely small? These ideas are the basis of calculus and of our technological civilization. If they are fraught with paradox where does that leave us? Fundamentally confused?
