Ethics Bites is Now Available on iTunes

The podcast Ethics BItes is now available from the 'Philosophy' section of iTunes which is a subsection of 'Society and Culture' within the 'Podcasts' area. It is also available with additional material from www.open2.net. So far you can download interviews with Peter Singer and Mary Warnock. From Wednesday, an interview with Michael Ostuka will there. The series has 14 episodes, released weekly.

Ethics Bites launches with interview with Peter Singer

A new podcast, Ethics Bites, launched today. This follows the format of Philosophy Bites...It was commissioned by the Open University and is hosted on Open2.net the Open University/BBC website. The first interview in the 14-part weekly series is with Peter Singer on our treatment of animals. Other interviewees later in the series include Michael Sandel, Roger Scruton, Miranda Fricker, Mary Warnock, and Thomas Scanlon. I am the interviewer. David Edmonds introduces the podcasts.

There's also a short related  blog entry I wrote 'Philosophy and Conversation'
